As a rookie photographer, I seek out to friends about opportunities to shoot. In this case, I contacted my friend Brent.

After this conversation, I learned he is in a band called The Peoples Thieves, based here in Provo, Utah. I haven't listened much to them as where I have a small collection of music I listen to. But Yesterday, July 15th I met up with the three gentlemen, Jackson Turnbull, Brent Richards, and Dallan Turnbull. The sound? A beautiful mix of piano, ukulele, drums, and stunning vocals that will soothe a bad mood. Not to mention their good looks.

Their band started as Jackson and Dallan, who are cousins. Then along came Brent, who completed the sound.

Shooting with these three was defiantly an adventure I loved. Even tho we all aimed for a certain style of photos, the majority turned out fun and goofy, which shows how genuine the boys are.

Not hearing too much of their music, while we would be shooting, they would strum on a ukulele and all would sing some songs. The Peoples Thieves are one of the few bands that sound even better in reality, as well as on the tracks. These boys have some of the most energetic and humorous personalities of anyone I've met. They all three have a bond of best friends of many years. Something I would consider "Friendship Goals." Just meeting the two today, we all laughed and joked all night.

The Peoples Thieves have a brand new album they will be releasing soon, in the mean time , you can find them on spotify, pre-order their new album on iTunes and follow their social media. Who knows, you might make a friend out of it.
